| The New 96 Bed Maximum Security Living Unit is part of the redevelopment plan for the Saskatchewan Penitentiary. The 3500m² building is organized into four housing pods radiating around a central hub control post. Each pod is self-contained integrating a common dining area, kitchenette, laundry, showers, janitorial closet, telephones and computer in order to promote a normalized social setting that minimizes inmate circulation. An abundance of natural light and operable security windows provides a high standard of quality for the interior environment. |
| Video Arraignment Facilities - CYOC, CRC & RDRC | ||||
| Renovations and upgrades to these 3 correctional centres include the growing trend for Video Arraignment Facilities. These renovation projects required existing facility space be converted into new state-of-the-art Video Courts and Video Interview room. The designs were very successful in terms of ensuring staff stations and unit controls maintained visual surveillance of the inmates in these fast paced Arraignment environments. |

| Calgary Remand Centre | ||||
| In terms of construction cost and are per inmate, the Calgary Remand Centre is the most efficiently designed penal facility in Alberta. The 17,193 m² maximum security facility is based on a secure perimeter 'freedom-wall' principle. |

| Calgary Young Offender Centre | ||||
| The design of this 208 resident capacity medium security facility attempts to create an environment which will affect some degree of positive change upon the young offenders during their stay. The facility was the original prototype for young offenders centres in Canada, and has been used as a model in other jurisdictions in Canada and the United States. |

| West Calgary Remand Centre | ||||
| This 200,000 square foot project is a 340 bed self-contained holding facility, master planned to expand to 580 beds. The project was canceled just prior to construction. |

| North Slave Lake Facility | ||||
| We provided the Correctional Consultant expertise to Ferguson Simek Clark Architects and Engineers in the design of this 146 bed adult correctional facility and 24 bed young offender facility. Direct corridor connections to a stand alone central services building. This project is currently in the contract document phase. |
