| This project was designed to provide an energy efficient building with a crisp high tech image for an innovative electronics corporation. The 180,000 sq.ft. building contains administration, research and development, manufacturing, warehousing and shipping, medical testing facilities and employee amenity areas. The very large parking areas are screened from the building and surrounding streets by earth berms and landscaping material. |

| This existing WedTech building included a 2,945 s.f. office component and a 46,506 s.f. Plant/warehouse component. We provided the contract documents, tendering and negotiations to determine the General Contractor and the Contract Administration for the 73,827 s.f. addition. The successful pre - engineered building contractor used the same colour and profile for the roof, skylights, exterior wall panels and interior liner panels in order to ensure the total building would not be read as a two phase construction. The concrete slab was constructed under very strict tolerances to ensure variances in floor level was minimal and crack control paramount. |
